PURPOSE:To announce the operations of a copying machine in easy-to-understand way by instructing the next operation by voice when the operator completes one operation. CONSTITUTION:When the machine detects the arrival of the operator alongside the machine from the reflection of ultrasonic waves, the machine emits an instruction for the operator so as to switch an electric power source on (voice data No.1). Upon timing up of the waiting time, the machine commands the operator to set magnifications (voice data No.2). When the setting of the magnification is confirmed, the selection of paper (voice data No.3) followed by setting of density and number of sheets (voice data No.4) are instructed. The respective instructions are emitted after the completion of the operations in accordance with the instructions before said instructions are comfirmed. When no operations are made upon lapse of a prescribed time after the instructions, the machine judges that the operator is at a loss and emits the voice instructions again. |
