PURPOSE:To form threads having a large degree of dimensional freedom on a thin plate by forming a cylindrical part on a thin plate, forming an axial spline on the cylindrical part and cutting threads on the ridge of the spline. CONSTITUTION:A round hole 21 is pierced on a thin metallic plate 2 having a specified shape, and a protruding cylindrical part 3 is formed by burring. A spline 4 is then formed on the cylindrical part 3 by plastic working such as press. Further, threads 6 are cut on the ridge part on the inner periphery of the spline 4 by tap working. Thus, threads 6 having large dimensional freedom can be formed. |
