An electrical amplifier comprises several partial amplifiers A1-A3, which are so connected and voltage fed that each of them amplifies a voltage interval of an input voltage. Each partial amplifier is power fed by two voltage supplies U1, U2, which may have the same polarity and are coupled to different active components in the amplification unit of each partial amplifier. In particular one voltage may be coupled to a first transistor to provide the main output, whereas the other voltage may be coupled to another transistor to permit the absorption of current from a reactive load. Each amplifier is energised only when the input voltage lies in a range defined by comparators K1, K2 so that a gate G1 closes switches S1, S2. <IMAGE> |
