PURPOSE:To ensure good transcription to the normal paper in case a toner on a turning transparent cylindrical recording medium which forms a latent image is transferred, by irradiating the light from a light source provided within the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical recording medium 6 which forms a latent image contains a photoconductive film 6b and a transparent film 6a formed to the inside of the film 6b. The medium 6 is charged evenly with electricity by a corona discharger 7, and the signal is fed to the medium 6 by means of a laser light 8. Thus a latent image 9 is formed and developer by a developer 10 and with use of a conductive magnetic toner 10c. Then the voltage of a power supply 12 having the opposite polarity to the potential which is charged evenly is applied to a conductive roller 13. The light of a light source 14 is irradiated from the side of a transparent electrode 6a, and as a result the electric charge of opposite polarity to the applied voltage of the roller 13 is injected from the side of the electrode 6a. Thus a toner 15 on the medium 6 is electrified. This charged toner 15 is transcribed electrostatically to the ordinary transfer paper 16 by an electric field and then fixed to obtain a permanent image 18. In such a way, the good transcription is possible to the ordinary paper. |
