PURPOSE:To make the numbers of teeth of output gears from first and second multidisc clutches equal and equalize both the output speeds of the forward and backward motions by a method wherein the output gear from the second multidisc clutch is arranged at the side of an input shaft closer than the input side gear of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:The first multidisc clutch 37 in an intermediate transmission chamber is utilized for the transmission of the forward movement while the second multidisc clutch 36 is utilized for the same of the backward movement. The input gears 59, 47 of the first and second multidisc clutches 37, 36 are formed so as to have the same number of teeth while the output gears 60, 49 of the same clutches are formed so as to have the same number of teeth. The output gear 49 of the second multidsc clutch 36 is arranged at the side of the input shaft 35 closer than the input side gear 52 of the output shaft 10, therefore, the output gear 49 and a reversing gear 51 will never be meshed with the input side gear 52 at the same time even through the number of teeth of the output gear 49 is not reduced. The first and the second multidisc clutches are equipped with friction plates 56, 57, 44, 45 of the same number of pieces respectively. |
