The double-glazing window frame is made up of light alloy components which form the basic structure for each window pane. The two panes are separated by a spacer incorporating hooks at its ends which engage beneath lips provided on intermediate thermally insulating blocks. The components of the frame can be rapidly assembled to form a frame which, due to the inclusion of the thermally insulating blocks, prevents the formation of a thermal bridge.
