Method for preventing dirt-accumulation in eaves gutters

The aim is to prevent dirt- and mud-accumulation in eaves gutters in the simplest and most effective manner possible. By covering the gutter with e.g glass cloth of appropriate grid size, leaves for example are prevented from falling into the eaves gutter. By appropriate shaping of the gutter, wherein the gutter narrows towards the base into one or more small gutters, deposition of mud is prevented and at the same time a higher flow rate of the water in the narrowing is achieved, which has the effect of an automatic flushing of the gutter. Owing to the lateral slopes, the deposition of mud on these faces is prevented, and the dirt particles slide into the region of the narrowing and are carried away there by the higher flow rate of the water. <IMAGE>
