The angular probe contains at least one ultrasonic transducer (2) which is provided with a delay path (8). According to the invention, there is provided between the delay path (8) and the workpiece (12) to be tested a transmission layer (10) which is attached to the delay path (8) and whose speed of sound (C3) does not alter the refraction.
