PURPOSE:To obtain a desensitized ink having a great desensitizing effect, a hydrophobicity, and excellent suitability for off-set printing by using a specific polyoxybutylene-propylene copolymer polyol as a desensitizer for no-carbon pressure-sensitive duplicate papers. CONSTITUTION:An amine-based polyoxybutylene-propylene copolymer polyol is obtained from reaction of butylene oxide and propylene oxide in such a way as to form an arranging order (based on one active hydrogen) of the formulaI(R is a group of the formulas 2-4, m is an integer above 1, and n is o-m) in the presence of an amine compound having one or more active hydrogens (e.g., alkyl amines such as lauryl amine, etc., polyalkyl amines such as ethylene diamine, etc., alkanol amine, or heterocyclic amines) as an initiator. The polyol thus obtained is mixed with a pigment, a vehicle, etc., to obtain a desensitized ink. |
