Bellows seal

摘要

The invention presents a bellows seal for shafts which execute angular movements. To this end, the shaft is provided with a multiple start coarse thread which interacts with a correspondingly designed cap-shaped nut. The open end of the nut is connected in a sealed manner to the bellows end, the nut itself being protected against rotation, such that displacement of the same causes a rotation of the shaft. The bellows is hence deformed only in the axial direction, while the shaft to be sealed executes angular movements.
