PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a moving structural body with simple construction and an inexpensive protecting devic by providing a detecting mechanism consisting of an electrical contact mechanism to the moving structural body. CONSTITUTION:During advancing of an optical head 1, a wheel 10 is pressed by the work 4 and is on the direction opposite from the advancing direction. A detecting plate 17 for contact which is mounted on the opposite side of the wheel 10 advances always ahead of the head 1 and when the plate meets an obstruction 5, the plate 17 actuates a microswitch 15. The signal thereof is fed through a lead wire 25, contacts 23, and a lead wire 26 to a control board which stops the advancing of the head 1. Thus the head 1 is protected against damage by collision. |
