PURPOSE:To obtain an energy-saving industrial gear oil composition capable of remarkably reducing the friction coefficient and the abrasion of gear, by compounding graphite, an organic lead compound, an olefin sulfide and an alkyl (thio)phosphoric acid compound, etc. at specific ratios to the base oil. CONSTITUTION:The objective gear oil composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a base oil, (B) >=0.2pts.wt. of graphite, (C) 0.5-0.3pts.wt. of an organic lead compound, (D) 0.3-2.0 pts.wt. of olefin sulfide (in terms of S), and (E) 0.02-0.1pts.wt. of an alkylphosphoric acid compound and/or alkyl(di)thiophosphoric acid compound (in terms of P). |
