The shaving tool for cutting processes has a tool section (1) comprising a rotatable counter roller (26) and a shaving steel piece movable relative to the roller. For maintenance of constant swarf removal angles and the achievement of considerable dimensional precision, the steel piece and the counter roller are synchronously movable in counter phase with one another, pref. using a double screw (29) with two threaded parts (30,31). One threaded part works with the shaving steel piece and the other with the roller. A worm gear (33,34) rotates the double screw. |
