<p>A method of generation of camouflage clouds employs an air supply source producing a large volume of low pressure air which is regulated by a control valve on entry into a duct. A second, smaller, conduit connects the air supply direct into a hopper containing the solid material to be used for the production of the cloud, in order to fluidise it. Fluidised material drops out of the hopper, through a regulating valve into the air duct and is carried away in the air flow. The duct may divide downstream of the point where the material is introduced in order to deliver the cloud to different locations. Each branch may be controlled by its own regulating valve enabling the cloud to be delivered through one or other or both conduits.</p> |
