PURPOSE:To form the head and collar of a nail at a time by striking the top part of a nail material clamped through clamping devices and clamping mechanisms with a percussing tool, and moving the clamping mechanisms against a spring after the head is formed and then forming the collar. CONSTITUTION:Clamping devices 3 and 3 clamp the body part of a nail material 1, and clamping mechanisms 8 and 8 clamp the neck part of the material 1; and the clamping devices 3 and 3 coupled through a hinge 12 are disallowed to open by being pressed by a cam 10. Then, the top part of the nail material 1 is struk with a percussing tool 9 to form a head 13. After the head 13 is formed, a sliding shaft 6 moves against a spring 5 to shorten a gap A, and a collar 14 is formed between the devices 3 and 3, and mechanisms 8 and 8. |
