PURPOSE:To reduce the difference of cooling effect due to the rotating direction of a motor by installing a fan of the same shape as the unidirectional cooling fan of a unidirectional rotary motor oppositely to the motor. CONSTITUTION:The end blade section 23 of an axial unidirectional cooling fan 22 is partly bent in chevron-shaped in section so that the cooling air Q'R generated when the blades rotate in a direction of an arrow 10 becomes larger than the cooling air Q'L generated when the blades rotate in a direction of an arrow 12. Then, the fan 22 is so installed that, when the fan 22 rotates in the direction of the arrow 12, it is disposed at the downstream side to the stator 4 and the rotor 3 of a motor. In this manner, the cooling air Q''R produced when the fan rotates in the direction of the arrow 12 becomes smaller than that produced when the fan rotates in the opposite direction, but the cooling efficiency when the fan rotates in the direction of the arrow 12 is better than that when the fan rotates oppositely. Accordingly, the difference of the cooling effect due to the rotating direction can be reduced. |
