Machine with barrel-arranged reciprocating and rotating pistons of which the motion transformer is located inside a self-contained structure wherein it may be completely isolated from the compression block both from a thermal and a chemical point of view. Means are provided for: - easy adjustment of the transformer within the structure; - localization and considerable attenuation of noises and vibrations; very economical compression, even in an engine, of air or a gas.
