LOCKER ARM AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME

PURPOSE:To sufficiently hold the strength of the titled locker arm by using a locker arm made of a synthetic resin reinforced by a carbon chopped strand having the absolute value of the average orientation degree alpha of 30 degrees or less and that of beta of 5 degrees or more. CONSTITUTION:In placing a carbon fiber chopped strand into a metal mold of the locker arm, the carbon fiber chopped strand is fillted at random into the faces XY and XY' of the locker arm, and the average orientation angle beta of the carbon fiber when projected on the face XY or XY' is 5 degrees or more with respect to the axis Y or Y'. In addition, the average orientation angle alpha is made 30 degrees or less. By this arrangement, a locker arm having an excellent mechanical strength can be obtained.
