The invention relates to a wheel fork, especially for a straddle carrier with multiple wheel drive, which comprises a fork support (52) and a transmission section (53). In the transmission section (53) a brake disc (82) is arranged on the end section (68b), of the drive shaft (68), remote from the hub (70). This brake disc is connected to a brake member (83), the brake pads (84) of which can be actuated by means of a control element (86). A telescopic spring (1) is used as spring element. This has a cylinder (3), filled with a fluid, having a displacement piston (4) displaceable in the cylinder (3) and connected to the vehicle frame, which piston acts on a spring pot (9) open on one side. The retaining flange (60) of the device holding the telescopic spring (1) is connected by means of screw connections to the carrying cross-piece (62) of the transmission section (53). A bushing (95) of wear-resistant material is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the tube cylinder (40) of the telescopic spring (1) and connected to the tube cylinder (40). <IMAGE>
