PURPOSE:To aim at promotion of reducing friction as well as to obviate a tilting motion and one-sided contact of a rod in order to stabilize damping force, by installing a ball slide bearing in at least either rod guide or piston. CONSTITUTION:Since ball slide bearings 15 and 20 are used in both a rod guide 14 and a piston 19, the frictional resistance at the sliding of a piston rod 13 can be decreased. In addition, clearances between the piston rod 13 and the rod guide 14 as well as between the piston 19 and a cylinder 11 can be set to be small. Therefore, even when a load in a tilting direction is imposed on the piston rod 13, the tilting quantity is lessened, thereby obviating the one-sides contact so that damping force can be stabilized. |
