FUNGICIDALLY ACTIVE 2-SULPHINYL-5-SUPHONYL- 1,3,4-THIADIAZOLE DERIVATIVES AND THEIR MANUFACTURE AND USE

Novel 2-sulphinyl-5-sulphonyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives of the general formula I (I) (wherein R1 and R2 each represents C1-C6-alkyl, C2-C6-alkenyl, C2-C6-alkynyl or C3-C6-cycloalkyl) and their manufacture. The novel compounds have a fungicidal action against phytopathogenic fungi, especially against cereal fungi, and accordingly may be made up with suitable carriers into fungicidal preparations and may be used for protecting living plants, crop areas and seeds against such fungi.
