PURPOSE:To symplify process and to improve reliability, by charging a photoconductive layer, projecting light from the side of a transparent electrode formed on the back of a photoreceptor, and charging the back of a transfer medium. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 100 is composed of a transparent elctrode 101 consisting of ''Nesa glass '' or plastics, etc. and a photoconductive layer 102 contg. an inorganic substance, e.g., CdS, ZnO, Se type alloy, or the like, or an org. substance, e.g., TNF, PVK, or the like or containing these materials as a compound. A light irradiation part 200 comprises an irradiation light source 201 having many rows of LED's arranged on the side of the electrode 101, and an optical lense 202 for forming an image on the junction of the electrode 101 and the layer 102. An electrophotographic recording apparatus comprises said devices 100, 200, and a transfer medium 300, a charger 400 located behind, a feeder 500 of a toner contg. an insulating toner and a magnetic powder, and a charger 600, e.g., corona discharger, for charging the layer 102 in advance. |
