PURPOSE:To obtain a timepiece convenient for a user while dealing with versatility of its use by optionally changing the direction of time display as the user likes with an external switch. CONSTITUTION:A display switching circuit part B is composed of a switching circuit 103 which indicates what position and what direction the contents of a time counter 12 are to be displayed at and in according to the contents of a quad counter 102 operated by a signal from an external switch 101. For example, when the contents of the counter 102 are (0.0), display is obtained as shown in the figure, and when (0.1), (infinity .01) is obtained; when (1.1), display shown in the figure B is obtained. |
