摘要 PURPOSE:To check the adequacy of the position of a lens to be checked accurately and quickly, by obtaining an AND value of optical data from light detecting means which are arranged in parallel on both sides of linear light receiving parts of solid state image pickup elements. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric transducer element array 51 is arranged on the surface of a CCD50. Light transmitting members 52 and 53 are arranged in parallel on both sides of the array 51. The four tips of the bent parts at both sides of the light transmitting members 52 and 53 are arranged so as to face the photoelectric transducer element array 51. The bent parts are covered by mask covers 60 and 61. The light beams including the projecting images Mi (i=1-4) of the slits from the lens to be checked are transmitted in the light transmitting members 52 and 53 and sent to the photoelectric transducer element array 51 from the tips. The outputs 52Va, 52Vb, 53Va, and 53Vb are added in adders 8 and 12 through AD converters 6, 7, 10, and 11, and compared with a threshold voltage in comparators 9 and 13. The results are sent to a display means 15 through an AND gate 14. Thus the adequacy of the position of the lens to be examined is checked accurately and quickly.
