发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR BRIGHTENER DENSITY IN PLATING SOLUTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure brigtener density in plating solution with high accuracy by obtaining absorbance difference between the absorbance of the filtrate which is filtered after mixing plating solution of a predetermined volume with activated charcoal added therewith and is measured at a specific wavelength and the absorbance of a predetermined volume of plating solution before adding the activated charcoal and is measured at a predetermined wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined volume of plating solution including such as copper pyrophosphate, potassium pyrophosphate, ammonia, wetting agent and brightener is added with activated charcoal powder at the ratio of 0.2g/200ml and then is mixed. The mixed fluid is filtered to get filtrate so as to measure absorbance characteristic of wavelength at 340-500nm on the basis of the atmosphere. A difference between the absorbance characteristics before and after the activated charcoal is added is obtained at the light of same wavelength. The amount of the brightener is accurately and readily measured by making an analytical curve in advance as the difference of absorbance is directly related with the density of the brightener. Thus, production of inferior goods is prevented by detecting excess and deficiency of the brightener thereby to prepare the plating solution.
