A tennis racket with a tensioning frame and a throat piece integrated therein, which jointly form a stringing area for strings of a net-type stringing system which cross one another and at least partially penetrate recesses or bores in the tensioning frame and/or throat piece. The intention is for the strings to be able to be readjusted at any time without thereby requiring complex mechanisms or tests of skill. For this purpose, there is arranged on at least one string (5) a tensioning member (14) which is provided on the throat piece (3), can be moved in its tensioning direction and can be fixed in a tensioning position, the string (5) preferably forming a loop (10) outside the stringing area (4), which loop can be placed around the movable tensioning member (14) and guided by the latter in the tensioning direction (x). <IMAGE>
