The insertion of a built-in housing containing a nozzle into the wall of the pool is known. Pump and motor are arranged in another area of the pool wall and connected to the built-in housing by way of connecting lines. According to the basic object of the invention, the considerable expense associated with this is reduced in that the pump is inserted, with pump shaft running at least approximately vertical, into a lower, water-filled housing section and that the built-in housing above this section has an upper housing section, sealed off from the lower housing section, in which the motor is arranged with its shaft parallel to the pump shaft. This results in a compact built-in unit taking up little space which, on installation, only requires connection of the electric motor.
