PURPOSE:To adjust the phase of an inversion cylinder with an impression cylinder by an easy operation from one place, by rotating simultaneously all worm wheels by the rotation of worms, and thereby performing the pressure engagement of a fixing gear with an adjusting gear and the disengagement of the former from the latter. CONSTITUTION:When an operating shaft 19 is rotated by a spanner after the fixation of two gears 12 and 14 by a fixing mechanism is released, four worm wheels are made to slip out of the screw part of a pin through the intermediary of bevel gears 22 and 23 and worms 24 and 25, and thereby the pressure engagement of a fixing gear 12 with an adjusting gear 14 is releaed. When a handle 40 is rotated after the fixing gear 12 is fixed on the frame side, the adjusting gear 14 is rotated due to the engagement of a pinion 38 with a gear 39 and the engagement of a small gear 36 with the adjusting gear 14, and thereby the phase of the fixing gear 12 with the adjusting gear 14 is adjusted. On the occasion of this adjustment, a pointer is matched with a dial plate for positioning these gears, since the position of the end of paper varies according to the size of the paper. |
