PURPOSE:To wash raw alga of laver with keeping the high quality of laver without causing change in quality of the raw alga of laver, by washing picked raw alga of laver with seawater immediately. CONSTITUTION:The washing tank 1 is hung in the sea from the side of the ship A by the hangers 15 and 15', and the raw alga of laver is transported from the laver picking boat B through the feed pipe 14 to the stirring chamber S in the cylinder 2. The raw alga of laver is washed with seawater introduced from the netlike window 4 by the stirring rod 6, the washed raw alga of laver is sent by pressure towards the discharge space S1 by the screw 15, transported from the communicating hole 8 of the partition plate 7 to the discharge space S1, and the raw alga of laver in the space S1 is sent from the discharge orifice 11 through the discharge pipe 12 to the dehydrator 19 by the rotary blade 10. |
