PURPOSE:To obtain a titled medium having the uniform magnetic film thickness, high coercive force and good head touch and adhesion properties etc., by providing a ground layer consisting of a Mg or its alloy between a flexible substrate and a sputter thin film magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:On a ground layer consisting of an alloy of Mg or Mg and e.g. Al, Zn, Zr and Mn etc. is provided on a flexible substrate of a polymer molded product etc. by a method of sputtering etc., a thin film magnetic layer of Co-P and Co-Ni-P etc. is provided on the ground layer by sputtering. |
