<p>MEANS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF A LOOM A weaving loom is equipped with conventional filling and wa?? sensors which operate in normal modes to stop the weaving operation when a fault is detected in either the filling or the warp. The present disclosure is directed to improvements in such a loom wherein loom stop signals are monitored in relation to amounts of fabric produced on the loom, or time of operation of the loom. When the loom is operating within predetermined limits of performance a filling defect is allowed to pass into the fabric without stopping the loom, thereby improving loom output efficiency.</p> |
