PURPOSE:To detect an index luminous signal by a method wherein conversion efficiency is raised by specializing a focusing material and a solid light receiving element which is small-sized, highly reliable, cheap and requiring no high voltage. CONSTITUTION:An end-face of plate-shaped polymethylmetaacrylate (PMMA), wherein a mixture of a focusing plate composition methylmetaacrylate (MMA) monomer, phosphor material phostasol.yellow.8G and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is castpolymerized for fifteen hours at 60 deg.C, is grinded to be made into a sample for measurement. For comparison, PMMA, which contains rhodamine 6G and 4- MU respectively as phosphor coloring matter is also made by the same method to measure conversion efficiency as the focusing plate. As a result of measuring the size of a luminous signal through the focusing plate when the contents of phosphor material are changed, the output of the luminous signal in the case (c) of the focusing plate containing phostasol.yellow.8G is bigger than the case (a) of the focusing plate containing 4-MU and the case (b) of the focusing plate containing rhodamine 6G. |
