PURPOSE:To enable a heater to be used in an upwardly directed condition in a box frame when using a sunken KOTATSU and enable a floor member to be used as a floor surface when the KOTATSU is not used, by a method wherein a panel comprising a thin-type heater fitted through a heat-insulating plate to the back side of a floor member left after cutting away a floor surface at an installing area for a sunken KOTATSU is placed in a box frame so that it can be freely taken in and out. CONSTITUTION:The panel 3 to be placed on a bottom plate 8 of the box frame 1 is produced by fitting the thin-type heater 5 through the heat-insulating plate 6 such as a metallic plate to the back side of the floor member 4 left after cutting away a part of the floor surface 7. The thin-type heater 5 may be nichrome wire heater or the like. A cover 11 in the form of a net is used to cover the heter 5. When using the KOTATSU for heating, the panel 3 is placed on the bottom plate 8 of the box frame 1 with the heter 5 side directed upwards. When the KOTATSU is not used, an upper frame 2 is contained by sinking into the pocket frame 1, and the panel 3 is placed on support pieces 10 of rail members 9 with the heater 5 side directed downwards so that the surface a of the floor member 4 is flushed with the floor surface 7. |
