The invention relates to a means for the axial securing of a needle bearing bush (5) in the yoke eyes (2) of joint yokes (1) by means of projections (3) produced by upsetting in a cold extrusion process and facing radially inwards into the yoke eye. The invention is characterised in that the needle bearing bushes (5) rest against a retaining ring (4) in the yoke eye (2) and the retaining ring (4), for its part, is secured against axial displacement in the yoke eye (2) by the projections (3) formed by upsetting in the cold extrusion process. The invention has the advantage over the known axial securing means that the retaining ring (4) can be released in a known manner by means of a special set of pliers, allowing a spider (8) to be replaced without machining away the projections (3). When using the embodiments according to the invention of an axial securing means, the spider (8) can therefore be replaced as often as desired without the safeguard against axial displacement suffering as a result. <IMAGE> |
