PURPOSE:To easily switch a line to another line, by respectively winding optical fiber jumper lines around plural sheets of excessive-length housing tools and, at the same time, connecting detachably one end of each jumper line with one cable and the other end with another cable through each connector. CONSTITUTION:Plural sheets of excessive-length housing tools 5, each of which is composed of at least one sheet of collar plate 5A and a discoidal barrel section 5B fitted to the plate 5A, are provided between a multicore optical fiber cable on one side and another multicore fiber cable on the other side under removable conditions and optical fiber jumper lines 6 are wound around these excessive-length housing tools 5. At the same time, one end of each jumper line 6 is connected with each optical fiber of one side cable and the other end is connected with each fiber of the other side cable through each connector 7 in removable states. Thus lines are formed. When necessity of changing one of the lines arises in a wiring section, the excessive-length housing tool 5 corresponding to the line is taken out and the connecting location of the connector 7 at the end of the optical fiber jumper line 6 is changed. Therefore, switching of line can be easily and surely performed. |
