LAMINATED ENDLESS STEEL BELT FOR V-BELT EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To heighten the durability of a steel belt which supports V-blocks, by winding a strip provided with wide portions and narrow portions and by conjoining both the ends of the strip to each other. CONSTITUTION:A belt material 5 is provided with a wide portion 5a and narrow portions 5b. Both ends 5c of the material 5 are wide portions. After the material 5 is wound for plural windings, both ends 5c are butt-welded to each other. A laminated steel belt 1 is thus manufactured from the single belt material 5. A plurality of V-blocks 2 are slidably supported by the steel belt 1. An endless V-belt for stepless transmission is thus manufactured.
