PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording paper free of unnecessary coloring, smearing, transfer staining and blocking in its heat-sensitive recording layer by displaying an end mark using an ultraviolet-ray curing type ink on part of the surface of back near the end part of a leuco dyebased heat-sensitive recording paper. CONSTITUTION:An end mark is printed on part of the surface of back near the end part of a long heat-sensitive recording paper having a heat-sensitive coloring layer composed of a leuco dye, an acid substance, and a binder on its support by using an ultraviolet rays-curable type printing ink composed of a photo-polymerization initiator (e.g., benzoin), a prepolymer (e.g., unsaturated polyester), a monomer (e.g., ethylene glycol diacrylate), and a pigment, having a viscosity of 1,000poise or less, and then light of 200-450nm wave lengths is irradiated onto the recording paper for drying. |
