CASTING MACHINE WHICH MINIMIZES RAM STROKE IN DIE CLAMPING CYLINDER

PURPOSE:To decrease the stroke of a die clamping cylinder of a casting machine and to reduce the sizes of an oil hydraulic device and the body of the casting machine by providing a stopper attachably and detachably to and from the spacing between the die clamping cylinder and a housing. CONSTITUTION:A lower stationary stand 3 and a movable slider 4 are provided in the housing 2 of a casting device 1. A die clamping cylinder 6 and a ram 7 are installed on the slider 4, and the slider 4 is moved by a stroke (a) with a side cylinder 5. A stopper 9 is inserted attachably and detachably by using an inserting cylinder or the like. Thus the stroke of the cylinder 6 is enough with the size (b) taking the elongation, etc. of the frame by die clamping into consideration and the volume of working fluid is economized. The cycle time of casting is reduced.
