PURPOSE:To enable simplifying the lubricating and cooling procedures by providing the vane on the rotating seal ring of the seal, in the device which is provided with the mechanical seal placed between the ball-and-roll bearing for supporting the rotating shaft and the other separated chamber, etc. CONSTITUTION:The ball-and-roller bearing is interposed between the rotating shaft 1 and the casing 2, and the rotating seal ring 5 of the mechanical seal is set to the rotating shaft 1 to contact with the end part of the bearing inner wheel 3a. The following seal ring 6 of the mechanical seal is inserted into the retainer 9 in floating-free manner via the second seal 7 and the spring 8. The seal surface 10 is formed by pushing the end surface of the ring 6 to the end surface of the ring 5a. The radial vane 5' is provided on the other end surface 5b of the above ring 5. The lubricating oil in the oil chamber 4 is led into the seal chamber 11 in accordance with the rotation of the ring 5, then the oil lubricates the seal surface 10. Thereafter, the lubricating oil is fed back to the oil chamber 4 through the circulating hole 12 and exhaust hole 13 which are provided at the upper and lower parts of the casing 2. |
