The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for numerical control with function-related display, operating and control elements defined by an operating system. The object of the invention is to develop a circuit arrangement of the aforementioned type in such a way that the numerical control can be used to perform individual tasks of the user and at the same time the functions of the display, operating and control elements can be individually defined. This object is achieved according to the invention by providing an additional memory for individual programs created by the user, where the data lines of this memory and the data lines for the operating system memory are connected via a controllable separating filter to the logic unit. Means to activate the additional memory are connected via a first output of the logic unit to a control input of the controllable separating filter and via a second output to a control input of a memory control unit connected to the operating system memory and to the additional memory.
