PURPOSE:To eliminate the undesired vibrations and to improve the frequency response characteristics of a piezoelectric ceramic resonator, by forming the depressed parts to two metallic plates abutting to both sides of a resonator and at the same time putting an elastic material into the space between the two metallic plates. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 7 and 8 are provided on both sides of a ceramic plate 6. Thus a resonator is obtained. A pair of metallic plates 12 and 13 have projected parts 10 and 11 which abut to the electrodes 7 and 8. The depressed parts 14 and 15 are formed to the plates 12 and 13 at the positions opposite to the electrodes 7 and 8 and on the surface opposite to the abutted faces of the electrodes 7 and 8. Then an elastic material is put into the space formed at the side of a resonator 9. As a result, the thickness is decreased for the plates 12 and 13. Thus the vibration receives no suppression to obtain a sufficient degree of voltage attenuation. Furthermore the undesired vibrations can be eliminated with intervension of the elastic material. |
