PURPOSE:To display and print an outline font at high speed by outputting specified painting data and specified reverse printing data as polygon data by data generation processing parts for outside and inside segments. CONSTITUTION:When vector data on a specified font is supplied from a font data storage part 11 to the outline font generation part 13 of a data processing unit 10, the outside segment data generation processing part 13 outputs specifies the painting of a plane as to outside segments and outputs polygon data. Similarly, the inside segment data generation processing part 14 outputs polygon data for reverse printing. Then the outline font is displayed and printed on a display unit 16 and a printer 17 through a graphic data output processing part 15. This constitution which eliminates the need for development by a bit map system displays and prints the outline font at high speed. |
