Pulverulent coating composition, and the use thereof

The invention relates to pulverulent coating compositions and to their use. These coating compositions contain a binder mixture of a copolymer and/or polycondensate having a mean molecular weight of from 1000 to 20,000 and having a glass transition temperature of from 30 to 80 DEG C and an acid number of from 40 to 120 mg of KOH/g, or containing masked N-(1-alkenyl) isocyanate in copolymerised form and a product of the reaction of a di- or polyisocyanate and glycidyl alcohol or glycidylphenol which contains 2 or more epoxide groups per molecule and has a melting point of between 30 and 100 DEG C. These pulverulent coating compositions are suitable for electrostatic powder coating or for the whirl-sintering process for coating metal parts.
