The specific feature of the solution lies in that on the lower end of a rotatable and longitudinally adjustable rod a spring is fixed by a screw in the handgrip of the toolframe, on the upper end there is a base plate arranged comprising two discs with a conical and ribbed surface having been fixed in a threaded bore thereof, furtheron in the handgrip controlling means are to be found. Lying opposite to the base plate a cylindrical adjustable shank for receiving the cutting knife with the knife at the lower end thereof is arranged and behind the knife, on both sides of the tool-frame rollers are to be found. For the removal of the insulating layer in the longitudinal directions the invention yields two possible methods. The device according to the invention may be manipulated with one hand, whether cutting is taking place in a longtitudinal, transverse direction or spirally. By adjusting single components, the device is equally suitable for the right-hand and left-hand performance, respectively. |
