Carburettor on which the diaphragm of a displacement element is acted upon on its fuel-free side by the intake pressure of the internal combustion engine in order to achieve distension and tensioning of this in order to enlarge a pump chamber, as a result of which a constant filling and good response behaviour of the acceleration pump is achieved.
