The invention relates to an arrangement (cf. Fig. 1) with a housing (1) containing side walls (2, 3) and base (5) or lid and a box-shaped insert (6) which can be pushed into the housing (1) and slides therein in a manner free of play, the arrangement being used in particular as a drawer-type ashtray in a motor vehicle. In order to compensate for manufacturing tolerances between the housing (1) and the insert (6) it is proposed to provide each of the side walls (2, 3) and the base (5) of the housing (1) with a respective guide channel (13 to 15) associated with each of which is a respective sliding piece (10 to 12) on the insert (6), the transverse dimensions of the guide channel and sliding piece being small in comparison with the transverse dimensions of the housing and the insert. <IMAGE>
