PURPOSE:To operate an engine in safety continuously when a revolution angle sensor of the engine is out of order by outputting a fuel injection control signal on the basis of an output signal of a crank position sensor and a clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection device is provided with a revolution angle sensor, a crank position sensor, a control unit, and an injector. When the revolution angle sensor is found to be out of order, informations concerning the angle of revolution is processed to be switched over or changed at a step 358, and revolution angle informations approximately obtained is used. Consequently, for the computation of fuel injection control, a loop of steps 359-364 is repeated just as at a normal time, and the operation can be continued. |
