The subject matter of the invention is an arrangement for launching a light bundle into an optical fibre. According to the invention, the light bundle, which impinges on a lens which focuses the light bundle, is divergent, and this lens (8) and the fibre (9) are arranged on a common axis and combined to form a unit (7). This unit (7) is then displaced perpendicular to the beam direction in order to adjust the focus of the light bundle onto the end (9a) of the fibre core. <IMAGE>
