To simplify and reduce the cost of manufacture and installation, a two-row flangeless self-aligning roller bearing is provided with a two-part collar thrust cage, the parts of which are, after installation in the self-aligning roller bearing, held together by an appropriate design of their webs and simple connecting elements to give a cage with pockets for the positive retention of the rolling elements.
