APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BROADCASTING OPTICAL SIGNAL WITHIN PHOTOELECTRIC COMPUTER NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for broadcasting an optical signal within a photoelectric computer network are provided to assign efficiently a resource by transmitting optical signals to selected receivers through a single optical path. CONSTITUTION: A photoelectric computer network(10) comprises a multitude of computers(11-19). Each computers(11-19) has the first optical fiber cable for transmitting an optical signal beam and the second optical fiber cable for receiving the optical signal beam. A system(5) for broadcasting a photoelectric signal within a photoelectric computer network has a lens and a mirror array. The lens divides a received optical signal into a multitude of optical signal. The mirror array guides the divided optical signals to the second optical cables of selected computers.
